We just had our new LeafGuard gutters installed by the Byers team. The guys (Trevor and Reuben) did a fantastic job. They showed the utmost professionalism and took pride in their work. I was very happy with their installation and the performance of the gutters after the first rain storm yesterday. Mike, who provided the initial estimate was a good guy too, and he was a pleasure to deal with.
Keep in mind, however, that the LeafGuard system is not cheap. I'd wager that it is 2-2.5X the price of traditional gutters. But you really do get what you pay for. The gutters were definitely premium gutters and beefy. They look great too and come with a lifetime transferable warranty, and a no clog guarantee to boot. They will come out and clean them if needed for the life of your house! Byers has been around a long time so I'm pretty confident they will be around for the future if needed.
I purchased the gutters through Costco, which gives you a decent discount through a cash card 4-6 weeks after install. The discount was about 12% off the quoted price for me (your mileage may vary?) If you pay for the gutters using your Costco Amex and have the Exec membership, you'll get a bonus 2% back from Costco along with the 1% back from Amex!
Anyways, if you are looking for something very high quality and willing to pay up for it, go to Costco and set up an appointment.

Leafguard Gutters VS Leafilter
You know there allot of bad reviews on Leafguard. Being a customer of Leafguard for seven years in the greater Puget Sound area I have had no problem with them.
A friend of mine has leaf filter for about three years, She has had her husband clean the gutters at least once a year because the filter although it surgical mesh get pollen caught in it. There for he has to go over it with a wired brush.
Least if I had to clean my gutters out all i would have to do is call up Leafguard and they would come and clean them out for free. It saves me the time and effort.
So my over all experience in Leafguard Gutters have been a pleasant one.

Finding lawn care distasteful in almost all its forms, I spend most of my time plotting ways to get out of tasks like cleaning gutters — one such method would be the LeafGuard system. This gutter cover lets water in but keeps most leaves and debris out.

We can see a few perks — like I don’t have to clean the gutters anymore — but we’re aware that this system might not work for everyone. Folks up north in particular might be at a disadvantage if ice built up on top of the cover.

I have alot of fir trees in my backyard. Leaf filter guarantees that their gutters dont clog and that only water gets through. That may be true but over time the smaller debris clogs the screens that covers the gutter.
Then, when theres a heavy rain, alot of the water starts dripping off of the front of the gutter. I have to drag the pressure washer up on the roof to clean the gutter screens every 2 years. Maybe I can get the service rep over to pressure wash my gutters for me because I'm sick of doing it.
